Materials You’ll Need:

Gauge: Not critical for this project, but approximately 4 single crochets (sc) per inch.
Finished Size: Approximately 3.5 inches long (fits most newborns to 3-month-olds). Adjust hook size for slight variations.

Sole (Make 2):
- Ch 9.
- Round 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in the next 6 ch, 3 sc in the last ch. Working on the other side of the chain, sc in the next 6 ch, inc in the last ch. (18 sc)
- Round 2: Inc in the next sc, sc in the next 6 sc, inc in the next 3 sc, sc in the next 6 sc, inc in the last 2 sc. (24 sc)

- Sl st to the first sc to join. Fasten off one sole.

Upper:
- With the right side of the other sole facing you, join yarn with a sl st to any stitch.
- Round 1: Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), sc in the same stitch and in each stitch around. (28 sc)
- Round 2: Ch 1, sc in the BLO of each stitch around. (28 sc)
- Round 3: Ch 1, sc in the next 8 sc, (sc2tog) twice, sc in the next 8 sc, (sc2tog) twice, sc in the last 4 sc. (24 sc)
