Tips and Variations:

  • Color Play: Don’t be afraid to change colors every round or even within a round for a unique look.
  • Texture: You can change the hook size to adjust the density of the fabric. A smaller hook will create a tighter weave.
  • Size: To make a larger square, simply add more rounds, maintaining a similar stitch pattern and increasing appropriately in the corners.
  • Edging: Once you have your desired size, you can add a final round of single crochet or another decorative edging.

There you have it! A pattern for a square that I hope will indeed make you say, “WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SQUARE!” Happy crocheting! Let me know if you give it a try and how it turns out. I’d love to hear about your color choices and any modifications you make!
