let’s craft a crochet square with a delightful bee motif!

Materials:

• Yellow yarn (for the bee body)
• Black yarn (for stripes and antenna)
• White yarn (for wings)

Bee Body:

1. Round 1: With yellow yarn, ch 4, sl st to join into a ring.

8. Round 8: Change to Yellow yarn. Ch 1, sc in each stitch around, sl st to join.

Wings (Make 2):

1. With white yarn, ch 4.
2. In the second ch from hook, hdc. In the next ch, dc. In the last ch, hdc.
3. Ch 1, turn.
4. sc, dc, sc.
5. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Antenna (Make 2):

1. With black yarn, ch 6.
2. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Assembling the Bee:

1. Sew the wings to the back of the bee body.
2. Sew the antenna to the top of the bee body.

Crochet Square:

5. Place the bee in the center of the square.

7. Continue to crochet around the square, adding rounds as desired to increase the size or add a border.
